Brother Pope,

What do you mean by free will - free will as in every day decisions, or free will in that we have the ability to choose G-d, thus changing not only the coarse of our earthly existence, but our eternal resting abode?

Shalom!

Do we have free will to change our destiny?? Are we in control of our lives??? Do we have free will?? How much are you in control of your life.

I believe we do have free will but it is ultimately lead by our father who loves us enough to direct us with good and bad circumstances. The holy spirit is a gentleman who will speak to your heart about your choices especially when they are wrong. he will allow your conscious to be proded without remorse but your actions are all your own. Repentance is up to you change is up to you and victory or defeat is up to you. As Christian we are equipt to do everything we can think of. We are creators of our destiny. God has a plan to prosper and not harm, to give a hope and a future but we can postpone or refuse that plan altogether by our actions.
My concluding thought is that our free will allows us to follow or reject the perfect will that God has selected for each of us. He is a loving father who will allow us to go astray but stand watching and waiting for our return in the hopes that we realize his love never fails and can never lie or be mistrusted. He know infinately more than we ever will about all things. Your will or choices are freely given in hopes that you will free walk besides the one who knows what's greatest and loves you most of all!

The truth shall set us free and the Truth is called Jesus! I believe that freedom is a process that happens when we are in relationship to Him. We must grow into freedom through Jesus.
